0. INTRODUCTION
Regional context: election and war in the DRC which is predominantly marked with hate speeches and hatred. What is happening is limiting or impede on the living together in peace for our region. A particular attention should be drowned on the DRC. To effectively respond to this the ISHI PAMOJA DRC made a project one equal to five 1=5. The second was a project on preventing hate speech before and after electoral process in the DRC. This targeted 4 provinces of TSHOPO, Central KASAI, Haut KATANGA and ITURI. We are currently in contact with the leadership of TSHOPO province for the discussion of its implementation. Some of our members are independent election observers on the upcoming elections in the DRC. We count on our people to report on escalations that can happen in this electoral process.
A visit a Frederick Hebert Foundation , ( before the year ending , we shall submit to FEF a proposal on mobilizing the Great lakes Youth Parliament on the social contracts /citizen chatter on living together in peace and harmony . ICGLR/American Embassy /European Union and etc...
Initiate the regional women forum on the living together in peace and harmony./ all of us shall be responsible for the proposal writing , making contacts and follow-up .
1. DIALOGUE OF DECEMBER 2023 (FORUM OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT) IN KIGALI
Based on a consultancy that I rendered to the global advocacy for African affairs in their meeting in Kigali in September this year, and after sharing our experience on the living together in peace and harmony, we secured the opportunity to partner with them in the organization of the regional forum on peace for local governments in the Great lakes region. IPKA is the organizer and shall invite civil society from Burundi, Rwanda and the DRC to attend the forum in December 11 to 17 /2023.
